Hi there! I’m Lesley, and I run VIPets Dog Walking and Pet Sitting here in Christchurch.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of caring for hundreds of Christchurch’s most beloved family members. I’ve walked thousands of kms with a wide variety of dogs from many different backgrounds. I’ve sat quietly with shy cats until they finally decided I was trustworthy enough for head scratches. I’ve supported families through those scary post-surgery recoveries and helped senior pets enjoy their golden years with dignity and comfort.

What really lights me up is working with the pets that others might find challenging. Give me a reactive dog who needs patience and understanding, or a senior sweetheart who requires gentle care, and I’m in my element.

These days, VIPets has come full circle, from individual walks and in-home visits, through to group adventures out at the river every day, then back to a more personalised approach. I’m focusing on what I love most: providing one-on-one, heart-centred care for pets who need individual attention. No one size fits all approach, just personalised, professional care that honours each pet’s unique personality.
