Pet refuge provides temporary shelter and care to pets while their family escape violence and enter emergency housing, where often pets are not allowed.

Once safe and families have rebuilt their lives and found new pet-friendly accommodation, pets are runited with their loving families. Ensuring no one has to choose between their safety and their pets wellbeing.

Pet refuge believes every pet deserves safety and love, especially in their most challenging times. Their “Safe Beds for Pets” programme provides temporary care for pets of families escaping violence. This includes a national transport service, veterinary tretment, a safe bed, food and bespoke enrichment and training programmes so pets can heal from their trauma and be ready for a new safe life.

$25 gives a pet on night of care in our Safe Beds for Pets programme. But more than that, it offers families a pathway to healing and hope. However we can’t do this alone, your support keeps pets safe and helps us continue to provide life-changing care for families in need.
