Behind every good directory is a team that cares about getting the details right. Here at K9andKats, that team is small and close knit, and it even includes one very determined Rottweiler.

Raewyn – Founder

K9andKats started with a simple problem. As a dog boarder, I kept getting asked the same question by the families I worked with, things like: “Do you know a good groomer?” or “Who do you use for training?” I didn’t always have an answer, and neither did they. So that gap became the idea for a directory, one that brings pet owners and trusted local pet service businesses together in one place.

I handle the parts of the business you’ll see every day, including the listings, the social media, the blogs and  content, and the relationships with the businesses who list with us. It’s a lot of hats, but because of that it means every post, every listing, and every bit of advice on the site comes from someone who genuinely loves this community.

Mark – IT

Every directory needs a solid engine running behind the scenes, and that’s where Mark comes in. He looks after the IT side of K9andKats, so the website runs smoothly and the technical bits behave themselves. As a result everything keeps ticking along and pet owners can search the directory without a hitch.

It’s fair to say the business wouldn’t function the way it does without him quietly keeping the wheels turning.

Luna – Chief Morale Officer

No introduction to the K9andKats team would be complete without Luna, our Rottweiler. She came into our lives as a foster and she never left. In many ways, she’s the reason this whole business exists, since she’s a daily reminder of why we do what we do: every pet deserves people who care about getting them the right support.

A Small Team with a Big Focus

We’re not a big operation, and we like it that way. Because of that every listing on the K9andKats pet directory website has been looked at by someone who cares about pets. Every post you see has come from people who are genuinely part of this community, not a faceless brand account.
